The work analyzes the following topics:

• Viewpoints of Akaki about the relationship of nation and language, presents all contexts of researched terms nation, people, tribe.

• terms used for denoting Georgians and other peoples;- citations of Akaki, which highlight who he considers as Georgians; our observation about the dynamics of the knowledge of Akaki during years;

• every choronym, or word-forms, which are used for denoting the some country of Georgian by Akaki, aslo the names of other nations and countries;

• position of Akaki in the period of the second half of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century about the hierarchy of speaking codes according their prestige.

• Position of Akaki about the relations of Georgian historical mother tongue and dialects ( including mengrelian, svani, Lazi dialects ... ) In this context there is also analyses of the process of denationalization and so called Rusification politics by Akaki. We remark that every problem, which where emphasized by Akaki Tsereteli, still exist in actual context in our contemporary time - in the epoch of disorientated political spectrum and new globalist tendencies
